Do you take my insurance?
Please call us with your insurance information and we will contact your company to help determine coverage. Most dental plans offer “out of network” benefits. Some companies (Aetna, Metlife, Cigna) will send payment directly to our office while others (Delta, Horizon Blue Cross) will only send reimbursement directly to the patient. We will work with you to maximize your insurance benefits.
What are veneers?
Veneers are thin porcelain facings that cover the front of teeth. They can be used to change the size, shape and color of a tooth. They are very popular because they can achieve a dramatic result in only a few visits.
I have sensitive teeth. Can I still whiten them?
Yes. We have a whitening technique specifically designed specifically for patients with sensitive teeth.
I have a missing tooth. What options do I have to replace it?
A missing tooth can be replaced with an implant, a permanent bridge, or a removable partial denture. Each option has pros and cons that need to be evaluated on a case by case basis.
How long will my restorations last?
With routine exams, cleanings and good home care, restorations can last many years. While I can not put an exact life span on each restoration, I can say that I have many patients with restorations that I placed over 10 years ago and they still look great.
Can you remove all of my old silver fillings?
It depends why you want them removed. If they are leaking or cracked then replacement would be important. If you don’t like how they look, we will discuss the risks and benefits of removal. All new restorations placed are tooth colored.
